Hello, can anyone tell me if it is possible to use PC2100 ECC ram instead of NON-ECC Ram? I am building a system for a friend and the motherboard (asus P4S533-MX) accepts both SDram and pc2100 DDR ram chips. I can get ECC based memory for $25 per 256mb on sale as opposed to Non ECC for $47 and since I am trying to save money I wanted to know if ECC will work in place of NON-ECC
