Is there a way to have EC500 active on a telephone without all of the bridged appearances ringing through to the mobile?

Page (2) of the off-pbx-telephone station-mapping form... Bridged Calls. Put in 'none' and this should solve your problem.

Last question. I hope. Can my customer utilize EC500 if their mobile is a long distance number?

Short answer: Yes... The phone system generates the call out to the mobile.
