I just setup a user with EC500. The user has a bridged appearance button. When EC500 is activated, calls from his extension and the bridged extension are ringing to his cell. Is this by design and can it be controlled ?
since you setup the ec500 station to have a bridged appearance of only one line of one station, i don't see how it could ring on the bridged app also? is is possible that number is forwarded to or covered to his original number?
I checked for forwarding and coverage. I also removed the bridged app button from the users phone and when I did the calls were not passed to cellular. As soon as I re-added the button it started passing the bridged extension calls.
Bridged Call Alerting is set to n. Any other ideas ?
Thanks for the reply. It was set to station, but setting it to extension did not stop it. It must be a system parameter, I bridged 2 different extensions to my phone and they both rang through to my cell. Any other ideas ??
