Easy I am sure Style Sheet question

When I make a style sheet for bullets, each time I need to make a new bullet is there a way that the bullet itself can show up or do I always need to manually enter it. Also I want the text black and the bullet itself gold, is there a way in the style sheet to work that as well or is this also something I might have to do manually?

You can create a character style instead of a paragraph stlye.

Apply your paragraph style first, then go back and apply the charater style to individual characters or words without changing the rest of the line.
