E8604 SQL Agent Backup Error

Running Arcserve 6.61 (Build 834DP2A)

Getting the following error message when trying to backup SQL 'E8604 failed to start backup [database name] EC= Backup Agent Error (117) "Configured value of Backup Buffer Size is invalid. Please check SQL Server'.

Has anybody experienced this error before and if so I did you overcome this.
