E3803 Invalid file trailer signature

Good morning. I get the error above as well as:

E3802 Invalid file header signature &
E8524 Received unrecognized command from the client agent

when trying to backup one particular client. Does anyone know how to resolve this?

Start be making sure the latest updates are installed both at the server and Client Agent ends.

Put the agent in debug (via a registry setting) and then ck the logs.

Maybe your session was partially overwritten, its a published software bug. Please try to install a patch after installing SP1:
Fix QO64863
Replace tapeeng.dll with the new one. Doing this will prevent your tapes from future E3802!

Well, first thing I did was reboot that pc and I haven't gotten the error message again so I think I'll leave it at that for now. Thanks for the suggestions, though.
