I have upgraded my exch 2000 server to exchange 2003 on a windows 2000 box (running on w2k mixed domain). Email is running well and I am now ready to upgrade the operating system to windows 2003 to use RPC over HTTP.
I have found references to using RPC over HTTP. There is an indciation that w2k3 is necessary on the e2k3 server and also that the domain controllers must be running windows 2003. So my first question is - is it necessary to upgrade the Domain contraollers to w2k3 or just trhe mail server to w2k3 operating system? If I only need to upgrade the exchange server are there any steps or concerns that need attention prior to running the operating system upgrade? Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thank you in advance.
