I've recently purchased When trying to use outlook or outlook express, when I send and recieve, I get the usual "Enter username and password." I do, even though the setting is to remember password, and I eventually have to cancel, and I recieve the error the pop3 server couldn't authenticate you. I can go to and enter username and password and everything is just fine. It's a nice internet site that I can send and recieve e-mail with no problem. Using outlook or outlook express I have pop3=mail.johnsoncomputers.us smpt=mail.register.com, or mail.mycompany.com, or mail.myothercompany.com, all valid smtp servers which work. The problem isn't smtp, because the error is pop3 couldn't authenticate me. I've had several e-mails I've recieved come from postmaster@bouncemessage.net. The message says it's from the user that sent it, but it shows an attachment and when you open it, that's where the postmaster name shows up and the attachment is the e-mail the user sent me. Do a traceroute from samspade.org for johnsoncomputers.us and the last three entries show timeouts at Exodus Communication. I doubt this has anything to do with my e-mail, and I can ping and administor the mail directly on the internet. Anybody have any ideas? Thanks. Glen A. Johnson
