E-mail being re-sent from months ago

Hi,
I set up an Exchange 2K Server in February to handle the mail for one domain, so the setup is really straight forward. Something weird has been happening everytime the server is rebooted, as soon as the IS comes back online the SMTP queue fills up with email dated from March!!. It is not every email ever sent that goes out again, but around 1500 go out everytime the mailbox store is dismounted and then mounted again.

I spoke to MS support yesterday and after some head scratching, they said to run eseutil /g on the databases, which was successful, and I ran isinteg on it too.

However, the same problem is still resident.

Any help would be appreciated.

I've had this problem before also, I didnt call MS but scoured for info on the issue and came up w/nothing. I just hoped that it would go away and it did! 01110000

I have sorted it out now, I had to exmerge the existing mailboxes out of the private store, create a new mailbox store, then merge the mailboxes back in.

It was a huge time consuming job, but it worked.
