Is it possible to attach an email in a field of a form?

We have a database that keeps track of technical orders. We get e-mails on what we are supposed to implement on a particular tech. order. Is there anyway I can attach or make a copy of this email or something to have it in a field of my form?

Thanks.

sara82,

While you can send emails out of an Access DB, I've never heard of receiving an email into an Access DB. But if you're talking about simply copying the email and then pasting it into the form, sure! You simply add a memo field to your underlying table and then add a large text box to your form, binding it to this memo field. A memo field can hold up to 64,000 characters, which should be more than enough!

Hope this helps!

Thanks missinglinq. No, I don't want to receive an email to the Access DB. But just have a copy of the e-mail.

I was thinking along the same lines of your approach.. creating a memo field and then creating a text box on the form.

I was just wondering/curious if there was any way to add that e-mail as a file? Just like you can insert pictures.. if you could also insert an e-mail into a field on a form?
