I got help getting rid of a dialogue box for a Netgear wireless card. The message asked if I wanted to shut down Windows XP Home wireless finder. Well, I got help to get rid of the message by checking a box so Windows XP no longer tries to set up the wireless connection. The dialogue box disappeared...when I rebooted a new problem occured.
The new problem is the machine boots up with background picture, shortcuts, and McAfee Security Center 7.0 is trying to load...before it can completely load the moniter flashes and then reboots the computer. Now the computer is in a continuous re-boot cycle and will not stay up (loaded). There is very little time to do anything before it reboots. Any ideas?

You might have better luck posting in Forum 779, "Windows XP Pro".

Is there a chance you can get into 'SAFE' mode? Then you could delete the program for the wireless card. At least you may then be able to reboot the computer and then reload the Netgear software after that.
That would be my first try to fix the problem since all the problems started right after that.
Good Luck,
