The good thing about being a "dinosaur" is that I'm good with old-fashioned E&M signalling.
I'd like to know some details about what you think the problem is (or just describe the symptoms). If you're not sure, I can start you off with some details about the signal wiring between the devices.
The software parms are also straightforward, but we need to be sure about our connectivity first.
