I was looking through a couple of my older MICs that were programmed years ago by Verizon and I came across something I thought odd.
I noticed that they put the first 2 ports of the E&M card in one pool and the second two (identified as DTMF) inanother pool
here is an example
081 - E&M - Pool B
082 - E&M - Pool B
083 - DTMF - Pool K
084 - DTMF - Pool K
089 - E&M - Pool B
090 - E&M - Pool B
091 - DTMF - Pool M
092 - DTMF - Pool M
Why would they do this? But wait, it gets a bit stranger
097 - E&M - Pool D
098 - E&M - Pool D
099 - DTMF - Pool O
100 - DTMF - Pool O
101 - E&M - Pool D
102 - E&M - Pool D
103 - DTMF - Public
104 - DTMF - Public
105 - E&M - Pool C
106 - E&M - Pool C
107 - DTMF - Public
108 - DTMF - Public
109 - E&M - Pool C
110 - E&M - Pool C
111 - DTMF - Public
112 - DTMF - Public
Obviously, I havbe three Pool Groups with Tie Lines.
I just don't know why they prgrammed the receivers, (I am assuming that's what the ports labeled DTMF are), in separate pools or even as public.
Anyone know if there is a reason for doing this?
