I have created a dynamic drop down menu, but due to the menu & sub menu items being images it makes it a real pain to update/change.
I have tried to create a text based menu but I cant because I have no image 'button' to initiate the OnMouseOver tag.

Any ideas as to how I can create a text based rollover menu?

Can't you use layers, show/hide features?? When you mouse over the main topic, do you get other options appear?? I have not failed; I have merely found 100,000 different ways of not succeding...

Hi GUJUm0deL,
I am using hide/show layers by activating/deactivating them on MouseOver/MouseOut on a menu button that is a graphic image.
What I cant seem to figure out is how to use a MouseOver not only for a text link but for the background table on the sub menu as well. This is so that the sub menu wont retract when the users cursor is in the sub menu table but not necesarily on the actual text link.
Hope this makes sense!!!

I've never found a satisfactory solution within dreamweaver. Project seven make some snazzy extensions that deal with this partly, but not the text rollover issue. You ened dhtml.

Go here. It works great and is easy to use.
