Is there a way to make dynamic images with ASP? I've done it in ASP.NET quite easily, but that option isn't available right now :-( I have a background image, and I'd like to be able to put text onto the image in code, and possibly save it for later use? Is that possible? Thanks.

It is possible, but not easy to write from scratch, from what I have seen. I wrote one from scratch at one point that would take an array and turn it into a bmp image, it was not very speedy.

It would most likely be easier to write a server-side ActiveX object in VB or .Net to do this for you.

Thanks for the quick responses. That would work cbokowski, but I was looking for free.

It was only planned to allow managment to go into an admin portion of the site I'm working on for them and add/remove pages. Major pages are displayed on the nav bar as an image, so I though I could make the picture and stick it on the nav bar dynamically when they make a new one, but it isn't a feature that's worth paying $70 for. Thanks though!
