Hi I'm trying to create a for through vba code. the table i want thi form based on is going to change everycouple of months and i need a way to get the names of each field and crete a contriol for it on the form? Any ideas
 
plenty, put non are easy to explain

but try the createcontrol function in the help file it is well explained

a loop with me.recordset.fields.count

and me.recordset.fields(loopnumber).name

To Create a forms and the controls on it see:

CreateForm()
CreateControl()

in help

another thought why not keep form 'fixed' and use a query (which you can create in code), to set alias's for the column names, to keep them constant Regards
