Dynamic Disk option greyed out..

Hi All,

I have a w2k Server with 3 IDE hard drives; two are internal and one is an external (well it's actually an internal HD in a USB external cage).

I want to convert the external drive to a dynamic disk but when I right click the drive in Disk Management, the option for dynamic disk is greyed out- any ideas why this is??

I don't think you can convert 'Removable' / 'USB' / 'External' drives.
