My reports needs to display months in columns in which works were made (only these months). In rows i should have works made in these months. One another column should display type of hours of works made (1-type : works between 8.30 and 17.00, 2 type - wroks after 17 and so on). Crosstab is great but my works needs to be grouped together. Is another methods for generating columns basing on formula for example. Sth. like gouping columns - but horizontally ?

Your columns can be flexible, but they can't automatically group like a cross-tab unless you use a cross-tab. You can read about using conditional totals to create a manual cross-tab on the formulas page of my web site. Columns are hard coded but they can be hard coded to a formula that adjusts each column based on a calculation.
