We have a website that I use internally for monitoring network activity etc.(hosted on SBS 2003/IIS)
I tried to publish this site externally using our Dynamic DNS service so that I can monitor remotely.

I created a DNS entry for the DYNDNS account name. Additionally I created an IIS header for the site.
In the end it didnt work and I removed both the header and dns entry.

The thing is I probably goofed somewhere as now when I ping my dyndns account I see a 192.168.1.1 address listed, but the connection times out.

What the heck did I do? More importantly how do I fix it?

How did you put the address in DynDNS? When you access their site from your network it'll typically fill in the public address for you. You could visit whatismyip.com to see what address should be there and change it. Naturally, you can't get to 192.168.1.1 via the internet.
