I had a page with client side image maps that worked fine. I brought it into DW4 and converted it from tables to layers to make changes. I made the changes, then when I converted back to tables, I got lots of overlapping layers.
I had not edited the layers with image maps, but DW inserted its little icon representing a client side image map.The image map icons were causing the layers to expand and overlap each other, so I turned them off in preferences.
This didn't work; the icons will not go away! The only way I have managed to get them to disapear is to delete the hotspot! I need to get rid of the client side image map icons so the layers don't overlap..assistance is greatly appreciated.
