DW quits when updating Library

Whenever I modify a Library item and Dreamweaver asks if I'd like to update all files containing the item, the program quits.

When I re-open DW, I discover that the actual Library item is updated, but none of the pages containing the Library item are!

I using DW 4 on a G4/OS9. Any help would be appreciated.
