DW locks up constantly

I can't work for more than 10 minutes before Dreamweaver 4 on my WinMe laptop locks up. It always happens when I try to use a feature, not any one in particular, almost all of them do it. I can't even access the "Using Dreamweaver" option on the Help menu!

Any ideas?

Get 128megs of ram minimum. More if it fits. You won't run dreamweaver 4 and a graphics program + preview in browser without at least 196.

My suggestion?

Chuck ME in the bin. Its not as stable even as win98
Buy 2000. its stable and fast.
Download the win2000 patches. You need them.

This is what I did when running me on a laptop with only 64 meg of ram and having all the problems you list.

I have 128 ram. Upgrading OS would be nice, but not feasible.
