Problems arise when i use a dvi cable with my digital enabled lcd screen. I have various problems. However my friend uses a dvi cable as well and it seems to work fine for him. Though i am not 100% sure, i suspect it may be because of the fact that he uses both that analog and dvi cables at the same time. Is this right or do i need to do something else? I use an LG L1730B monitor with a 128 mb Gigabyte NX66T128D 6600GT video card.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Thanks

You shouldn't use DVI and anologue at the same time, how would you know what signal the panel is using? likely that the lower quality signal is default?

What problems are you experiencing? what resolutions and refresh rate settings are being used?
