DVD shows as Blank

Hi; Am using Windows Vista, I had downloaded a series of pictures on a DVD a few months ago and checked the DVD which worked fine all the pics had downloaded ok, but now when I loaded the DVD it shows as blank, any suggestions? Thx, Nick.

Did you create the Picture file via Vista's Movie Maker?
Which application or burning software composed the DVD?

DVD Maker won't finalize DVDs

Maybe something like this can copy your Vista DVD and finalize it for you so that it is playable on other machines.

Thx for the links; I tried the DVD on my friends Win XP machine and it worked fine. Will try and work on the prog for finalizing the DVD on Vista. Nick

If it works on your friends machine then it may already be a "finalized" DVD.

See what type of DVD's your DVD player is able to play. Some DVD players, I believe, may not be able to play certain types of DVD.

What type of DVD (+ or -, R or RW) is this media?
