Hi guys,I've got a dual boot rig,one with xp home and the other with xp pro.In the home edition, whether I use MP10 or powerdvd 5 the picture and the colors are fine but with xp pro both MP10 and powerdvd deliver poor quality video especially when it comes to colours.Truth is though that I don't know when the problem started cause I rarely use xp pro for dvd playback but it's bugging me.Could it be a bad codec or an application(clonedvd2,intervideodvdcopy,shrink)?Any tips are more than wellcome!

Hi,
My first thought would be that the XP Pro and XP Home 'see' your video card differently..Look at the Device Manager in each to determine if that may be the issue..( Perhaps XP Pro needs a different driver than XP Home?)

Thanks for the tip Turkbear, once I unistalled the new Nvidia driver and installed an older version everything was ok.But I was just wondering if the new driver had to do something with the Nvidia decoder.I mean if once you install the new driver you have to also install the decoder as well.
