I've got an old computer which CD-ROM is out of order and has to be replaced. Would it be a possible to install a DVD instead? If I do, can I watch DVD films then? (Is the graphics fast enough?)

Dell Optiflex GX110
Windows 2000
256Mb RAM

Well as for actually putting the dvd player in place of the cdrom that will work just fine. However as for the dvds playing fine that depends on the video card your running. Processor can affect this as well but if your running at least a 350MHz amd you shouldnt have much problem. As for video card id reccomend at least a 32MB for dvds.

I'll just forget about this DVD thing. My video card has only got 4 MB.

Thanks anyway!

lol Yeah that would be a good idea. 4mb video cards get lagged by yahoo adds. My moms computer has one lol.
