DV camera requires admin access to connect

Folks,

I have a staff member with a DV camera that she wants to be able to download content onto her PC via firewire.

Problem is, she is a power user but the PC wants admin user rights to connect up the camera.

Is there a way to get around this without giving her admin rights on the PC?
