I have a 2000 Professionl box with two NICs in it. Each time I boot the system it gives a popup error about a duplicate name on the network. Doesn't seem to cause any conflicts but how would I go about losing the error message?

Rename your computer, or rename the other computer on the network that now has the same name.

Well, there is no other computer on the network with the same name. It is the one computer with two NICs in it. Each NIC has it's own IP address but Win2k is trying to see it as two systems and apply each IP with the same network name.
