Duplicate Hotmail email thru Outlook Express

All of a sudden I am receiving duplicate Hotmail emails thru Outlook Express. I do not have "Leave copy on server" set. It is coming thru with the exact day and time stamps. But does not always happen. Recently though i have selected that it checks my email every 10 minutes - which is a setting I have not used before - could this have anything to do with it.
