Does EMC have a CLARiiON based software program that searches the network for and kicks out duplicate files to conserve space? We are not permitted to enforce disk quotas and currently have no archive solution in place so every little bit helps.

not specificaly for clariion, but for all. There is a software from EMC called VisualSRM (stands for Storage Resource Management). It's very good. you can get several kind of reports, including duplicated files, oldest files, less used, etc.

Take a look to that.
