duplicate emails

i've got outlook express set up to receive my hotmail emails. the problem is that i get 2 of every email from this account.

this there are option to stop this double downloading of emails?

operating system is windows 2000 pro.
using outlook express 6.

This happens, because when you're checking mail, you are in the hotmail inbox. It is a known problem and will not happen if you are viewing any of your local folders when sending and receiving. The only solution is to stay out of your hotmail inbox until OE has finished receiving.
