Hi guys. I need an exchange/email box guru here. Here's the story. The Exec Assis. is getting duplicate emails from diff users. She got for the past 3 days 1700 duplicates in 4 hours. The Exchange server is outside of the company. It belongs to an email host company. We called. They troubleshoot and could not fing anything

What I've done is backed up her .pst file and redo everything from scratch. Partion and format HD and installed all over again all her software. Everyone is having the same installation on Win Xp.Now she gets duplicates again.

There are no viruses, spyware, adware. The machine is new a Sony Vaio 3.2 GHZ CPU, 512RAM. Office XP and WinXP/SP1 installed.

Anyone came along this problem? If yes, what's the solution?

Please help...

Have you done a Keyword Search on "duplicate" and reviewed the input from those threads?

Hey Matrixa, how are ya? I haven't found anything yet about this issue. Looks like no-one had this before or no-one knows how to deal with it. It is a big problem. If I find anything I'll let you know

I have the same problem and am also running a Sonicwall. The firmware and OS have been kept up to date tho... I am stumped.
I am thinking this may have something to do with the Exchange Pop connector because I have yet to see an internal email duplicated.

I resolved the problem on my end. Let me explain. The problem was the Norton Antivirus Corporate Edition. If you have one of those installed then go to Configure/File System Realtime Protection/Advanced/Heuristics. Take it from Maximum Level of protection and place it on the Default level of protection. I had this issue on 2 users and since 2 days ago no duplicate email are received

I hope this will help. Good luck

This is for qwayne. Since you have a Sonicwall, have you ever done a VPN setup? I need to do one and never done it in the past. I have a Sonicwall Pro and a 2040 in 2 diff locations. If you done it before and you can send me step by step instructions it will be very appreaciated ( I will send you an email address). Thanks
