Hello,

When my users start their computers they get a message box that says that a duplicate computer name exists.

I checked DNS on the domain controleer but I do not find any duplicates.

Is there something else I can do to avoid this anoying message box.

Thanks.

Rgds.

What are the operating systems? If W2K, browsers might be causing the problem. (Knowing the operating systems would help.)

Hi Glen,

Thanks for the reply.

I'm getting those messages on clients using WinXP Pro.

Thanks.

Do you have any error messages in the event logs?

Hey Glen,

I finally figure out the problem.

I had just added a Sonic Wall Firewall and it wasn't configured properly.

I disconnected it and the errors went away.

Thanks again for all your help.

Rgds.
