Duplicate Attachments sent from some emails

When sending attachments via Outlook XP some users have been informed that the attachments they have sent have been duplicated. Some find that the duplicate is identical in size and content but others are increased in size by 1-2k...

This is only happening now and again!!!

Obvious checks such as viruses have been done and found nothing, and we have found that this only seems to take place when we are emailing externally. No emails sent internally are affected. Main documents to be affected are Word and Excel.

Anyone else had a similar problem?

Why am I not surprised that someone else would also have this problem. Sorry for the late reply, but this was just reported to me today by a user, and it's happening internally. Trying to get more information about the senders interaction and setup now, but if you've resolved this since you initially posted - please share the resolution.
