I was able to get the sun/solaris console/display when connecting the dumb terminal (WYSE WY-55), one of me co worker put the setting back to default by pressing the "G" key while powering on the terminal, now we cannot get any thing when connecting the dumb terminal to the sun machine via scsi cable.

hmmm? Connecting the Sun and the Terminals via SCSI Cable?
I connect my Hosts and the terminalconcentrator (which is more or less a headless terminal) with standard patchcables...

Terminal: check if the terminal realy powered up! Do you get a (blinking) prompt? Are you sure the Sun sends infos? boot up the sun switching to diag mode (the heartbeat line) will give extended output...
If you need to configure the terminal you will need to check the documentation.

Best Regards, Franz
