I have a system with two video cards running a television set I am tring to set up a second television off the second card is their any way to have both cards display the same info at the same time. I can get both to work but not simultaniously. Any ideas.

Thanks
Jeff

SilleyJ, I believe that would be software controlled. One of my buddies had a card that would do pretty much anything, a #9 card actually. Well, all the bells & whistles were software controlled if memory serves me right.

You can also buy a video splitter. The following i pulled up for instance. I'm sure there are others less expensive.
BELKIN EXPANDVIEW 4PORT VGA SPLITTER
Manufacturer: Belkin Components
Manufacturer Part #: FID068
MicroWarehouse #: DSD1178
Platform: PC

Best of Luck! -md Let me know if it helped.

From the book.
To configure multiple displays, first install all video adapters and attach monitors then
1)open display
2)select settings
3)Depending on how many adapters are installed monitor icons with numbers on them will be displayed. Drag these icons to match your desired display arrangement.
4) select the primary monitor icon(#1)
5) select the display adapter from the pull down list for this monitor
6)Set the color depth and display resolution
7)select the secondary monitor icon (#2)
Repeat steps 5 throgh 7 for each device.
I hope this was what you were looking for. It is copied from the exam prep book for W2K Professional.

In a nutshell, you need the software from both video card manufacturers. In my experience it is best to use 2 cards from different manufacturers, or W2k/9x gets confused.

Hope this helps

Thanks for the Help but the easiest and most cost effective way to do what we wanted was to purchase a VGA splitter so we can display the same powerpoint presentation on two or more Televisions. But that you for all of your help and comments.

Thanks
Jeff
