Dual Monitor Support for a Dell 4600

I have a Dell 4600 with the graphics built into the motherboard. Can I buy a graphics card that supports dual monitors and install it? Or is this not possible since the graphics are built into the mb?

I have an extra 17" flat screen and I want to use it.

Is there an option in your BIOS settings to disable the on-board video? If yes, then there is a way to add an external video card. The Dell 4600 is supposed to have an AGP slot, so there must be a way to disable the local video.
