Hello,
I recently bought a laptop for one of my users to use both in the office and at home. This Laptop is a Compaq EVO N1020v with Windows XP Professional SP1 and one built-in NIC. At work this user connects to our internet connection through a static IP address and at home this user gets their IP info from their ISP (This user has a cable modem). What i wanted to know is if it is possible to be able to connect to the internet through one connection while setting up another connection for home use in Network and Internet Connections, without having to re-enter the TCP/IP info. Thanks for any advice.

He should be able to disable the network connection for work and set up a new connection at home. he then can switch between which one he needs.

That's what it seemed like to me too, but I wasn't sure if it was going to work the way I thought. I'll set up the second connection and see how it goes. Thanks for your help.
