have a situation.

a drop down list, when select one of the choices, another drop down list pop up to select. so the choices displayed in the 2nd drop down depend on what user selects in the first drop down. any suggestion how I should do this?

Thanks

Try twoselectsrelated, which you should be able to find on the Macromedia CF Exchange, it does what you require and is easy to use.

got it. Thanks

question.
I need two set of the two drop down lists. like first choice and second choice. I know I need to call the custom tag twice for each set. But how do I name them and pass the values for inserting?

the first tag is set as --

<CF_TwoSelectsRelated
QUERY="Getcode"
NAME1="researchCenter"
NAME2="researchCode"
DISPLAY1="CenterName"
DISPLAY2="researchCode"
VALUE1="researchCenter"
VALUE2="researchCode"
SIZE1="Auto"
SIZE2="Auto"
AUTOSELECTFIRST="No"
FORMNAME="research">

Do I need to modify the tag itself to add for example Name3, Name4, Display3, Display4...?

Thanks for the help.
