Hi there,
I'm new to SQL 2000 I am a programmer, not a DBA. I'm the first here to use DTS as I need to transfer data between MSSQL and Sybase.
The basic goes well... But when I try to remove hardcoded properties, like for ODBC connections, I need to pass an INI file to the package. I used a global variable and the /A at calling time, no problems... But HOW THE HE** do I change a DynamicPropertiesTask to use the global variable as the path and filename of the INI file to use instead of its hardcoded value???? I've tried real hard with ActiveX and can't get anything workin'.
Help please, I'm at a lost and been working on that all day!
