This is probably really basic, but I'm new to SQL 2000 DTS programming and have to get this up by Friday evening...
I have a table with some invoice data. This table will hold two or three days worth of invoices, so I will have invoice dates on, for example, 7/28/2003 and 7/29/2003.
Now, executing via a package - I need to be able to write each days invoices to a separate text file with the textfile name being the date that is exported from the table (so, I'd have 20030728.txt and 20030729.txt).
I have successfully created a slightly similar task in this process by writing the list of invoice items to a text file, giving the text file the name of the date it was processed...so, I have a small grasp on using Dynamic Task Handlers and ActiveX Tasks with Global Variables...I just can't see how to solve this dilemma...
Please help...
Thanks,
Andrew
