I've just created my first DTS package and an Excel file is my source. Everything loads fine, except for the fact that I end up loading all 65000+ rows that are in the Excel file, even though 99% of these rows are null. How do I set the package to only load the valid rows?

TIA,
Jim

I had this problem. The 2 ways I found to solve this was:
1) Select the "Use a query to specify the data to transfer" option in DTS wizard in the screen after you have selected your source and destination. Then create the query to not copy blank rows.
2) Select all blank rows in Excel and Delete them (not clear).

Both ways seem to work ok.
