Hi all,
I want to ask a question.
I have DTS local package in my sql server.
I want to copy that package to another remote server which can use in case sql server in problem.
The question can i copy that package like copy store procedure by generating script.
Can somebody solve my problem?

I'd suggest you're better off saving the package as a file, and copying that across to the other server, from where you can just open it from within Enterprise Manager.
If applicable, running scheduled DTS packages from the file rather than a locally stored package is quite useful too.
E.G., In the command element of a step in a scheduled task, use
Code:
DTSRun /f DriveLetter:\Path\DTSPackageFilename.dts

The CLSID of the DTS package then becomes irrelevant and updating the DTS File doesn't mean recreating the scheduled task because re-compilation has changed the CLSID of the package. The latest version of the package is always run.

Sorry, probably more information than you needed there.
