Hi,
I'm trying to replicate and transform some data from one database to another. No I've used all the wizards etc, etc.......to set this up and it all looks good but when I execute the replication it says its complete but the destination tables are empty.
To give you a bit of background into what I'm trying to achieve - I have two databases, DB1 on server1 and DB2 on server2. I have table1, table2, table3 etc, etc...on DB1 and Table4, Table5, Table6 etc, etc, etc.....on DB2. Now the tables are not identical, as in the tables on DB2 don't have the same column names and stuff and the layouts are a little different. I'm using replication to replicate the data and incorporating DTS into the solution for the purpose of mapping the different fields in the different tables. Hope this makes sense as its baffled me!
