DTS and Service Packs 1

Here is the problem:

We are running SQL 7 with Service Pack 3 installed, we have an application that is currently not supported with SP 3. However, we have another app that is using the DTS function to import data files as a scheduled job throught the server agent. We were told that SP 3 was needed in order to run our DTS packages as a scheduled job.

Can anyone confirm which Service Pack is needed to run DTS packages as a scheduled job.

We have been running scheduled jobs since the release of SQL 7. We currently run SP2 and have many scheduled jobs running DTS packages. Terry Broadbent
