SQL 2000's DB design screen now allows for the addition of column description. Access' DB design screen had this capability for some time.

I am trying to import a DB from Access to SQL Server, however none of the field descriptions are coming across. Is there a way to bring Access field descriptions across using DTS?

try it using queries for import from Access instead of tablenames. Also, see if your access database is compatible with the current version of MSAccess installed on youc comp. If not, make a conversion at the first. John Fill
