OK, I have been trying to verify that the change I made in my DST entry will do the same thing as the patch, and I wanted to post here and see if anyone could see an issue.

DAYLIGHT SAVINGS RULES

Rule Change Day Month Date Time Increment

0: No Daylight Savings

1: Start: first Sunday on or after March 8 at 02:00 01:00
Stop: first Sunday on or after October 25 at 02:00

The reason I am doing this is I am on an older release of code, and we are having discussions with vendors about what we are going to do for the future (very long story).

I cannot see any reason why this entry will not work. Anyone see any issues?

Thanks for checking my work,

Scott M.

Your STOP should be "first Sunday on or after November 1 at 02:00".

On August 8, 2005, President George W. Bush signed the Energy Policy Act of 2005. This Act changed the time change dates for Daylight Saving Time in the U.S. Beginning in 2007, DST will begin on the second Sunday in March and end the first Sunday in November. The Secretary of Energy will report the impact of this change to Congress. Congress retains the right to resume the 2005 Daylight Saving Time schedule once the Department of Energy study is complete.

Thanks for the update. I forgot about the extension on the end in November.

BTW, we are on version 2.1

Thanks

You might want to read the bottom of this thread. It looks like the patch is for the server operating system more so than the CM side. If you need help finding the patch let me know and I can probably get you to the right one.

Hell, there are no rules here - we're trying to accomplish something.
