DSS Lihgts will not work

I have a Merlin Magic and the DSS light are not working. The Recp. can tranfer using the DSS button but can not se who is on the phone. Is there a fix for this?

The 4424LD+ is a plug twice phone, i.e., plugged into a phone jack, AND plugged into an AC jack for power to the phone. Check the connections first. If it doesn't come up, phone's broken

Make sure someone didn't hit the bottom left button on the DSS - this is the "message status" button, It allows the operator to use the DSS/BLF buttons/lights to observe/change MW lights.

It the Message Status light is lit, simply touch the button to toggle it.
