Has anyone noticed the sudden disappearance of DSL modems from the open market? Last year they could be bought almost anywhere...not try it. We have been unable to locate them. We even went so far as to contact a vendor, but were told by them that they are only sold to ISPs now.

Has some piece of legislation passed that has been kept quiet?
