I have microsoft exchange 5.5 installed in a windows nT4 domain called kpb. I recently created an new windows 2003 domain, FJS, with two way trust to kpb. I am trying to install exchange 5.5 in the FJS domain but have it join the site in the kpb domain. This always returned the error The microsoft exchange server did not respond. DS_E_COMMUNICATIONS_PROBLEMS

Any suggestions on how to resolve this will be highly appeciated

How is the name resolution between the domains configured?
Can you ping by name the servers from the different domains?

Resolution is done by DNS. Yes I can ping each server from the next domain.

I should add that Exchange is installed on a win 2k member server in the NT Domain
